Edmonton Real Estate Market Update, October 2022

The seasons have changed in the Edmonton real estate market, but the
news is nowhere near as depressing as the news headlines.

The interest rate increases have done what they were supposed to:

-Benchmark prices have dropped
-Total sales have gone down
-Supply is very slightly up

But behind the numbers, here is what we are seeing:

-Properties that are well priced,
staged right, and easy to view ARE selling, sometimes in bidding wars
-Condo prices have stabilized (rather
than dropping in price like the last 7-8 years)
-Townhomes are shifting, but weโ€™ll see
what happens over the next few months to really know
